RECOOP continues to turn renewable-energy commitments into practical infrastructure through a growing series of solar photovoltaic projects across partner organizations and cooperatives.
Among its recently completed projects are a 10 kW grid-tied solar system at Iligan Cement, a 10 kW grid-tied system for PMFC Curuan, and a 6 kW grid-tied system for Midsalip Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Pagadian. Together, these completed installations account for 26 kW of installed solar capacity, providing partner institutions with greater access to renewable energy for their day-to-day operations.
Building on these completed installations, RECOOP is also advancing a 30 kW grid-tied solar project for CLIFSA and a 5.58 kWp Hybrid Photovoltaic System. Once completed, these projects will further expand RECOOP’s renewable-energy portfolio and demonstrate how different solar configurations can respond to the energy requirements of partner institutions.
These projects are made possible through collaboration with organizations and cooperatives willing to integrate renewable-energy solutions into their operations. Each installation serves not only as an energy project, but also as a working example of how partnerships can translate sustainability goals into practical action.
Across the completed and ongoing projects, RECOOP is supporting the development of more than 61 kW of solar energy capacity.
As its project portfolio continues to grow, RECOOP’s focus remains clear: to broaden the practical use of renewable energy, support cooperatives in adopting sustainable energy solutions, and build a stronger foundation for cleaner and more resilient energy systems.
Each completed project adds measurable capacity. Together, we build momentum toward wider renewable-energy adoption.
